London Trip In December 2005
As in 2004 I headed down to London for a long weekend with my friend Gary and his family, who looked after me really well and even took me out for a curry! I took a few photos too.

Madame Tussaud's
This place was *way* more fun that I was expecting! A large collection of wax models that in places are so convincing you almost mistake them for real people (at least, in the ones where they're wearing contempary clothes). Then there's the Spirit Of London, a kinda ride where you sit in a black taxi and see London's history. Finally there is the planeterium where they show a film projected onto a massive overhead dome. Pretty spectacular. This place is rather expensive and I was skeptical about whether I'd come out thinking it was worth my money. I still think it's expensive, but it was a great experience.
Natural History Museum
We had a little spare time after visiting Madame Tussaud's, so we wondered over to the Natural History Museum and browsed the dinasours area for a while. I snapped a few of the models.
